🎮 How to Play Tavern Dice

The goal is simple: be the first to reach 10,000 points.

Turn Flow

1. Click Roll Dice to start your turn.
2. Select dice that give points.
3. Choose your next move:
   • Roll again to increase your turn score
   • Bank Points to safely add your score to your total
4. If you roll and get no scoring dice, you bust and lose all points from that turn.

🧮 Scoring Rules

• Single 1 = 100 points
• Single 5 = 50 points
• Three 1s = 1000 points
• Three of any other number = number × 100
• Four, five, or six of a kind increase the score
• Straight (1-2-3-4-5-6) = 1500 points

🔥 Hot Dice

If all dice in your turn score points, you unlock Hot Dice.

This means:

• You can roll all 6 dice again
• Your turn continues with even higher risk and reward

🤖 Vs Bot Mode

Challenge yourself by playing against a bot.

• Matches are played as best-of-3 rounds
• Win a round by reaching the target score first
• Win the match by taking two rounds

🏆 Leaderboard & Scoring System

The Tavern Dice leaderboard is designed to reward both skill and efficiency, not just high scores.

Instead of only tracking total points, your ranking is based on how efficiently you reach your score.

📊 How Ranking Works

Players are ranked using the following priority:

1. Fewest Rolls Wins First
   The player who reaches their score in the lowest number of rolls ranks higher.
2. Highest Score (if rolls are equal)
   If two players have the same number of rolls, the higher total score wins.
3. Best Efficiency (if score is equal)
   Efficiency is calculated as:
   score ÷ rolls
   Higher efficiency ranks higher.
4. Invalid Entries Ranked Last
   Entries without valid roll data are placed below all valid scores.

📅 Daily vs Global Leaderboard

• Daily Leaderboard
  Shows rankings for the selected date only. Perfect for daily challenges and fair competition.
• Global Leaderboard
  Combines all scores across all dates using the same ranking system.

⚠️ Important

• If you choose “Skip” when entering your name, your score will not be saved.
• This means it will not appear on the leaderboard.
